Preparation:

1. Mix soy sauce and cornstarch (flour) in a bowl, add meat, mix everything well and cover with foil. Let it marinate 1-2 hours at room temperature,

2. Heat ½ amount of oil in a wok or pan and briefly fry the garlic. Add the meat drained from the marinade and, stirring constantly, fry for 1-2 minutes until it is soft and golden brown. Put it in a bowl on the side,

3. Heat the rest of the oil in a wok and fry the peppers and mushrooms until golden-brown,

4. Return the meat to the wok, add oyster sauce, fish sauce and sugar (and a little water if necessary), mix well and add pepper to taste. At the end, stir in spring onions and serve with cooked jasmine rice.

If you want the dish to be spicy, you can sprinkle it with thin threads of fresh chili peppers before serving!

Ingredients:

450 g thinly sliced beef fillet, 30 ml (2 tablespoons) light soy sauce, 15 ml (1 tablespoon) fish sauce, 30 ml (2 tablespoons) oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 45 ml (3 soup spoons) of vegetable oil, 250 g Shii-take mushrooms, 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 1 green pepper cut into squares, 4 spring onions cut into pieces 4-5 cm long, 1 soup spoon of brown sugar.
